Brady, to facilitate asset and inventory management in complex industrial environments, has combined with its high performance label materials, a perfectly suited RFID technology to create a reliable range of smart labels.
Some RFID tags go beyond identification by embedding a sensor into the element RFID that allows customers to read data (such as temperature) from any asset on which the labels are applied.
Two new RFID tags with sensing capabilities.
1) Moisture Sensing RFID Tag:
- detects wet conditions on the label
- based on B-423 polyester consumable
- uses passive UHF RFID technology (multiple readings from afar)
- applicable on all surfaces (except metallic ones)
- can be read by UHF RFID readers
2) RFID tag for temperature sensing also on metal surfaces:
- Measures temperatures from -40°C to 85°C
- based on B-423 polyester consumable
- uses NFC technology
- thanks to its special construction, it can be used on metal surfaces
- can be read by NFC readers and mobile devices Android and iOS
